Muse Announces World Tour, New Stage Set-Up

English Electro-rockers Muse has quickly earned the reputation of pushing the boundaries of stage set-up and production.

Announced today, the band’s latest tour will start off with a tour of the west coast and feature the band “in the round” for the first time ever.

“In the round” means the band will perform from the middle of the arena, allowing for 360 degrees audio/visual experience.

There’s no Chicago date just yet…but we’re confident the band will get close enough to the city to check out this already intriguing show.

Pearl Jam To Release New Album In the Next Year

If you’ve been missing Pearl Jam and want something new, I have good news for you.

Bassist Jeff Ament recently told Vice about what’s keeping him busy these days. Ament has been opening skate parks on Native American Reservations in Montana and South Dakota. When asked about his plans for the future, he spilled the beans. Pearl Jam may be going on tour soon.

“The band will probably try and get another record going in the next year, and I just want to build more parks in Montana….the way I look at it is if I’m touring and doing more things with the band I make more money. If I make more money I build more parks. It helps me get more excited about touring because I’m usually not too excited about it.”

Be on the lookout for a tour in the next year!

Foo Fighter’s Cover Band is 1,000 Members Strong

Most cover bands scrap together 5-7 musicians and call it a day. But not Fabio Zaffagninni.

An Italian life-long fan of the Foo Fighters, Zaffagninni set out to create an epic cover band, recruiting 1,000 members. He hopes to get Dave Grohl’s attention and get Romagna, Italy added to the tour.

The cause is called the Rockin’ 1,000. Check out their video!

Crying Fan Sings “My Hero” With Dave Grohl

Sunday Night at the Foo Fighter’s show in Denver, Colorado, Dave Grohl stopped in the middle of “My Hero” and to call out a crying fan.

“Don’t cry motherf—–, I know you’re drunk, don’t cry,” Grohl said to his drunk, crying fan Anthony. “Are you crying right now? You’re f—ing crying aren’t you? I love you man, look at you, holy s—. You know what, f— that speech I was just going to make, I’m singing this s— to you right now. I’m gonna sing this f—— song right in your face, man to man, prison style, I’m going man to man. Me and you, I want some real tears, you better sing it with me. Don’t make me cry, because I promised I wouldn’t do this.”

Grohl insisted Anthony move up to the front row of the audience but changed his mind and made him come on to the stage. After a big hug, Anthony stood beside Grohl, who was sitting on a stool because of a broken leg.  Grohl got up saying, “I’m gonna stand up with my broken leg and sing this f—— song to your drunk ass right now.”

Anthony sat and looked up at Grohl as they both sang “My Hero” together. At the end of the song, Grohl told his starstruck fan to “get the f— off my stage” and hugged him again. Watch the video above.

Man Proposes in Front Row at Foo Fighters Show

Talk about an unforgettable moment.

This video on youtube shows two Foo fans taking in the band’s tour stop in Toronto last month.

While enjoying the show from the front row, Steve asks his girlfriend Erin “What’ is on your hand?”

Her reaction is priceless and described in the video’s description as “Engaged & Confused”.

Thankfully, Steve had his camera on him to capture the big moment with a live performance of “Aurora” by Foo as the soundtrack.

Our guess is that they already know what their first dance song will be 🙂
