Chicago’s favorite comedy club had nothing to laugh over Wednesday night.
Second City‘s offices caught fire around 1 pm on Wednesday afternoon. While two levels of offices were destroyed, the fire did not spread to theaters where Second City shows are preformed.
“At one point, I was very anxious. It has gutted our two levels of offices. But we’ll fix it…The theaters are fine. The most important thing is that no one is hurt. Thank the Lord.” said Second City CEO and co-owner Andrew Alexander in an interview with the Chicago Tribune.
