A White Sox fan working on Wrigley Field’s renovations has left a mark on the ballpark.
Amid a fresh concrete pour at Wrigley, a White Sox World Series hat was pictured on top of the concrete. Even if the hat is buried in concrete, it’s not guaranteed to stay there forever.
Ballparks are know to take cemented rival items seriously. A 2008 incident occurred when a Yankees fan buried a jersey in cement at Boston’s Fenway Park. The jersey was removed with a jackhammer.
