The U.S. Pizza Museum has announced that they will be bringing their first physical exhibit to Chicago on April 3rd.
Up until this point, the “museum” has mostly consisted of a website displaying various pizzas and pizza related memorabilia throughout the years.
The museum will transition into the real world at the Chicago Pizza Summit, a festival dedicated to, you guessed it, pizza.
According to the U.S. Pizza Museum website, the exhibit will feature Vintage pizza advertisements, toys, buttons, and records from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s will be displayed alongside more recent artifacts like pizza boxes and menus, including selections from local institutions like Lou Malnati’s and the recently closed Burt’s Place.
No word on if this is an interactive or edible exhibit. Read more at CHICAGOIST
